Extra help in the workshop

As I told you last thursday I got some extra help this weekend. Malcolm, my five years old grandchild, was here. He really loves being in the workshop helping his grandfather. The best thing is to cut bread in the bandsaw. The slices gets perfect every time. We also got around to make a stand for our catalogs for the Frankfurt show. So now we have a new display showing the guitars in playing position. I think the guitars looks much nice that way. We will take a lot of picture during the show so you can see what was going on. We will be sharing stand with Tanglewood guitars in hall 3.1 stan no. c76 and b85. We will bring a couple of guitars with True temperament fretboards, and hopefully the mandolin I have been working on here at the blog (that is if we do not sell it first).
Today was just a day of getting three guitars ready for shipping tomorrow. Two repair and one NRB nylon stringed which we sold last week. The only work I was able to do on the new instruments was to route out for the wedge at the bottom and glued them. Tomorrow I will start routing for the purfling and bindings.
Hope to see you then./ Michael
