Mandolin dairy day4

The forth day got to a slow start (building wise), but important discussion with my business partner Olle. We are preparing for our 30th anniversary, so we hope you will like some of the things that will happen.

When I got to work with the instruments I started with making yet some new jigs. This time I needed some jigs to hold the top and endblock while I sand a curve on them to follow the mandolins shape. These things takes time to do but when you once have done them, the following mandolins will get faster and more accurate to do. Once the jigs were ready I sanded the blocks and fitted them to the sides and glued them in place. I also got to sand the curve on the sides of the two guitars. Then it was time to stop for this week.
I hope you will have a nice weekend and see you on monday again.
